Event Details

The American Foreclosure and Mortgage Relief Foundation would like to announce the Rock the House Blues Bash on April 21, 2010.  This event will be held at the Eagles Club at 2700 E. Ash Street in Springfield.  They will feature two national blues acts, Shannon Curfman and Tommy Castro along with three local artists, Christan Barnes, Josie Lowder and Mother Road Rockers.  Ticket prices are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  You may also purchase tickets at The Springfield Shopper (2001 West Monroe, Springfield, IL), Recycled Records (625 E. Adams, Springfield, IL) or visit www.afamr.org.  This event will be like no other event you have seen before!

 

The proceeds raised will go towards a Foreclosure Prevention Workshop, which will be held at the Illinois Association of Realtors Plaza, 522 South Fifth Street, on Saturday April 24, 2010.  Two educational workshops will be available. The first is from 10am to 11:30 and the second is from 1pm to 2:30pm.  After each workshop, borrowers will be able to discuss their own situation and/or schedule appointments to help them avoid foreclosure.  In addition, to loan servicers, local housing counselors will be available to assist borrowers. This upcoming nationwide tour, will raise money to assist Americans facing foreclosure today. We will promote awareness and offer a substantial amount of funding to make a dent in the devastated affects of our current recession through the Rock the House Tour. This is the time for Americans to join together to help their community!
